I designed this course for writers who still need to leap to write their books. At the end of this course, you will have completed an outline of a +50,000 word manuscript ready to be edited. Depending on your diligence, you can achieve a first draft. But it is up to you to learn and complete the homework assignments in this course to manifest your dream on the page.
About Me
I was born with a writing talent. As a pre-teen, I started writing a diary to escape from a household with fuzzy boundaries. Those diaries were my best friend. I set my mind on becoming a journalist while in high school. My first break came with Circus Magazine, and later I was invited to Japan with KISS on their Japan Tour. I became the Tokyo Bureau Chief of Billboard Magazine and wrote music columns for The Japan Times and Asahi Evening News.
I worked in media, communications, and publishing for most of my career and never stopped writing. People asked me for advice on how to write their books, so I finally turned my attention to helping others learn the craft I had perfected decades earlier.
That’s what I’m here to do for YOU!
If this is your first book, I welcome you to the creative writing world. And suppose this is a second or third attempt to finish something you thought about or started long ago. In that case, this course will jumpstart and tweak your process without any interference or procrastination to get you on the right track. If you need help, are at an impasse, or are questioning yourself during the course, I will be available for four sessions (50 minutes each) over the 12-week course via Zoom.
Why I’m Offering the Write Like a Rebel© Course
In 1996 after I sold my publishing company, I decided to share my experience with writers. Over the years, I've helped authors in a variety of ways. I have a 20-week exclusive one-on-one book coaching package affordable to a select few ($7,500.). A limited number of people are accepted each month. For this reason, I've collected all my experiences from the past 28 years and put them into this course.
